Size Measuring Guide
Waist Size
Measure your waist at navel level, keeping the tape measure snug but comfortable. This measurement is typically taken about 2 inches above the hip bone or at the level where you normally wear your trousers.
Hip or Seat Size (Optional)
Stand with your feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips or seat. Make sure your pockets are empty. This measurement is optional.
Fell Measurement (Optional)
The fell measurement is the vertical distance between the waistline and the hip or seat measurement line. It is normally measured halfway between the waist and seat. This measurement is optional.
Kilt Length
Kneel on the ground and place the end of the measuring tape on the floor. Measure upward to your belly button. Remember that a kilt should not be worn too long.
Your kilt length will normally correspond to the recommended measurements in our size guide. If your measurement is significantly different, we recommend taking it again to ensure accuracy. A slight difference may simply be due to personal preference or body shape. Please refer to our notes below for additional guidance.
